Leaking water pipes remain a persistent problem around the world. In many cities, a significant share of drinking water is still lost before it ever reaches the tap. Flowless aims to change that through a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced data analysis.
Founded by entrepreneur Baker Bozeyeh, the company has developed a platform that helps to optimise operations and reduce water and energy losses. Water network operators use Flowless’s software to analyse field data, automate operations and detect water losses.
Flowless’s AI agent helps utilities by explaining expert insights and complex analytics in plain language, facilitating decision-making and delivering tangible impact more quickly. Water network operators can ask questions such as, “How can I reduce leaks in my network?” The AI agent then helps them interpret complex analytics and prioritise high-impact interventions, providing detailed guidance for network optimisation and water loss reduction.
“Water loss is a global challenge that results in billions of litres of drinking water being wasted every year,” says founder Baker Bozeyeh. “By using data and AI, we help water utilities manage their networks proactively rather than only responding after damage has already occurred.”
According to Bozeyeh, the benefits extend beyond water conservation. The technology can also reduce maintenance costs and improve the reliability of drinking water networks. At a time when climate change and increasing water scarcity are placing growing pressure on water resources worldwide, efficient water management is becoming more important than ever.
Flowless is a finalist in the WIS Award 2026. The final will take place on 26 October 2026 during the European Water Technology Week in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. The other finalists are CIWI, Deep, Luper Technologies, Solaq, Spectromarine and Versa Solution.
